Archbishop Alexios hails Haniyeh government keenness on security of Christians

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The Greek Orthodox Archbishop Alexios in Gaza stressed that the Hamas movement and its government is very keen on the security of the Church and Christians in the Gaza Strip.Alexios hailed in an interview published by DW Arabic the security situation of the Christians in the Gaza Strip, under the Palestinian government headed by Ismail Haniyeh, and pointed out that the cooperation between the Church and the ruling authority has not changed."We live in safety now, especially after the outbreak of the second Palestinian Intifada in 2000.
